Renegade filmmaker J. A. Worthington, was born in Oakville, Ontario at Oakville-Trafalgar memorial hospital. As a young boy, he was captivated by the films of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. In particular he loved Hook (1991) and the Star Wars Trilogy (SE 1997).
These movies got him hooked on storytelling and film making in general. Curiosity got the best of him and he began making home movies and experimenting with video at the tender age of 11 using his grandmother's JVC video8 camcorder. He currently works out of Toronto producing and directing feature films.
